I've compiled this "Options List"
on Friday 20th April 2012 - just ahead of the Anzac Day Ceremony at
Saint Columban's College Caboolture on Monday 23rd April 2012. The
2011 ceremony was a great success and 2012 appears to be heading the
same way. Terry Fogarty.
Military History
The most important is to document the military history of
individual past students. The great bulk of these (200+) appear to
be from World War 2. This is detailed and time consuming work but
not particularly difficult. Details from the College Registers need
to be matched with details on the Nominal Rolls. I'm happy to
provide help as to how to do this. There is a pool of 900+ students,
plus past students, plus other interested persons in the wider
college community (and even from outside it). Even a group of about
10 could achieve a lot in this regard. It can be done over time.
