My complaint was made in March 2006, so it is now well "out of time.'' I have been waiting for Cameron Crowther adviser to the Minister to ring me today to let me know about the 'meeting' I am supposed to be having with the Minister about which they failed to advise me. I will carry on like a maniac if they tell me the complaint is now too old. Jim Pearce, whilst well meaning cannot do anything to assist veterans in respect of the Writeway complaints because 'Team Beatty' is not supportive of veterans. I corresponded with Jim a number of times about Writeway and although supportive, being a veteran himself, all he could offer was to trot out the bullshit peddled by the QOFT that they needed as many veterans as they could find in order to run an action against Writeway. You and I know Terry that this is not right because the OFT already have a complainant, being me, and a load of evidence to present to the court showing Writeway's illegal actions. This delaying tactic has been run by the OFT since the complaint was made. There is some sleazy deal being done by the OFT and DVA to keep them both out of the shit. DVA for aiding and abetting and fraud just to name a couple and the OFT for neglect in not checking up on Writeway following the 2001 complaint. In addition DVA will be concerned that a win by the QOFT against Writeway will open DVA to other actions by veterans from other states and territories where the acts are similar. (Note especially in SA with Paul Dignon.) I will bring all this to the attention of the Minister when this phantom meeting occurs.
